Mustang Trekking is a popular trekking destination in Nepal and offers you to explore the barren moonscape landscape of eroded sandstone pillars along with the discontinuous moraine terraces and wonderful cultural and biological diversity.  Mustang Trekking is considered to be relatively easy trekking along with the permitted route to Lo-Manthang which is situated in the very heart of Mustang.  This trek passes through an almost treeless barren landscape. And the strong winds generally howl across the area in the afternoon subsiding at night. Mustang, being in the rain shadow of the Himalaya, has much less rain than the rest of Nepal.

In fact, Mustang is one of the few places in the world which was so lately explored and the very close-niche life was until recently inaccessible to the outsiders. This region remained untouched of the modernization and all since very long. And this isolation helped the people of Mustang to maintain their lifestyle and heritage that remained almost unchanged for centuries. Mustang, hidden behind the majestic Himalayan ranges of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, is filled with beautiful trekking spots. You will need a special trekking permit and a government registered trekking company of Nepal while visiting this region. As per the rules and regulations of Nepal government, minimum 2 people should be participated in Mustang Trekking.

During this trek, while returning back from ….., we follow the upper route to Muktinath pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists or the …
