Pikey Peak Trek is a newly introduced and less traveled trail in the outskirts of the Gauri Shankar Conservation Area. The trek gradually ascends through the Rolwaling Valley and heads to the top of the Pikey Peak (4068m). Pikey Peak is said to be one of the grandest viewpoints to witness the panorama of Everest, Langtang, Gauri Shankar, Ganesh, and Langtang ranges. The trekking to the Pikey Peak is an ultimate experience with the pristine mountains and the authentic Sherpa culture. The trek also makes stop at some of the biggest monasteries in Rolwaling Valley like Chiwong and Taksindu monasteries.

The 9-day Pikey Peak Trek starts with your arrival in the City of Temples, Kathmandu. From there, you will have a drive to Dhap Bazaar. The trek from Dhap Bazaar will take you to an amazing adventure through numerous Sherpa culture and Sherpa monasteries. Passing the villages of Jhapre, Bhulbhule, and Jase Bhanjyang, the trek makes an ascent along with the rhododendron and magnolia forests. A gradual ascent heads to the top of the Pikey Peak. The top of the peak is one of the greatest vantage points to enjoy the panorama of the Everest, Numbur, and Rolwaling ranges. On the return journey, you pass through the villages of Loding, Junbesi, Taksindu, and Phaplu. At Taksindu, you will visit the Taksindu Gompa and head to Chiwong monastery on the descent to Phaplu. The villages of the region are mainly inhabited by the Sherpa community following the Buddhist and Tibetan traditions. The trek is most incredible during spring and autumn (Sep to Dec & Feb to June). You can also do the trek during the remaining seasons.

We, at Cold Feet Adventure, provide quality services to make the Pikey Peak Trek better. We provide the facilities of porter, guides and trekking experts as per your requirements.
