The Langtang valley is situated in the north of Kathmandu and on the borders of Tibet. Actually it is a beautiful alpine region containing some prime examples of temperate and sub-alpine vegetation. This region is known as one of the most popular and the most accessible trekking regions in Nepal. It will let you explore the typical Tamang Culture and villages with the experience of climbing small peaks and visiting glaciers at a more comfortable attitude than other trekking trails.
Gosainkund is honorable shrine for Hindus and Buddhists. And every August on full night this lake is thronged with pilgrims for a big festival.
